I wouldn't use a new notebook, but its a great way to re-use an old filled up notebook. That make a great desktop penholder.

I don't need a pen holder, but I LOVE this idea for creating a portable drive/thumb drive "pocket" in one of my notebooks! Thanks for sharing this -- it's very inspiring!
