Organize your memories from pregnancy until your baby's 2nd birthday with Moleskine's new Baby Journal, the first notebook especially for parents and children. Useful and practical, it has specific pages to record those special moments and important information.
6 sections to fill out especially for mom and baby (9 months of sweet expectation, bringing the baby home, feeding, care, birthdays, special moments like first words and first steps), 6 sections with tabs you can personalize, colored adhesive labels, a growth chart, pages on feeding, care and health and a space for important numbers to keep handy. The black cover is covered in newborn images.
Baby Journal joins the Moleskine Passions collection, a series of notebooks especially for life's passions which will include six new themes in 2011.
Lovely book! I can't wait to use it, although I wish there was more space dedicated to pregnancy especially since "9 months of sweet expectation" is in the product description. Two pages isn't enough to fit nine months of excitement!! It seems a shame to use the blank tabbed sections in the back of the journal because there will be so much to write about once the baby gets here, and it doesn't make sense to write about pregnancy after all the other info. Still, a wonderful book.
I think that this is a great idea! I am glad that this book is more about the baby than the pregnancy. (I am unable to have a biological child and if this book had more sections devoted to pregnancy, I feel like it would be another black mark imposed on me by society. I hope that makes sense.) I am buying this for my three expecting friends and myself as I am hoping to adopt soon.
I just bought the baby journal here in Amsterdam. Great idea. I agree with the comment above that there should be more pages for the pregnancy phase, but I will use the blank pages in the back and the special moments sections, because of course there are plenty. What also might be a nice idea, is a book for grandparents. I will give my mother a blanc notebook and ask her to share memories of when she was pregnant with me, things she notices during my pregnancy and special moments she experiences in baby's first year. But maybe a good idea for a new edition? Kind regards.
