Started off as a simple village party in 1981, throughout the years the Haldern Pop Festival has developed into a real classic of its own kind, one of Europe's most interesting music festival. Taking place in the German village of Haldern every August, attracts indie music artists from all over the world as well as thousands of fans. Famous artists like Bob Geldof and Patti Smith have all appeared in Haldern, and many music careers got their start with a performance there, including those of Element of Crime, Kings of Leon, Muse but also Paolo Nutini and Franz Ferdinand.
Back this year, more than 40 bands of the international singer songwriter scene will perform live from August 12th through the 14th. For more information visit the official website.

Moleskine is celebrating the Haldern Pop Festival 2010 with a release of a special edition to share and collect. Customized both on the cover and on the paper band, it will be given to the the festival guests and will be available at the Haldern Pop Shop.

A few Moleskine watercolour A4 notebooks will be also used as guest books and customized with artists' sketches and impressions of the festival. Here is a small selection of memories from the past edition.
