It begins with drawings in a notebook, a few sketches, some trials and errors. Then come the designs in AutoCAD® and the 3D models, in wood and resin. For Giulio Iacchetti, designer of the
new collections from Moleskine, the challenge was to find a way to make the pen adhere to the notebook.
Giulio Iacchetti Design StudyIacchetti experimented with different shapes. He carved models and added and removed details. The result: a pen with a square cap and a side clip that maintains the continuity of the rectangular shape and black color of the notebooks.

Awesome pen, holds so well on Moleskine. I love it. I bought pen a and Moleskine pencil. Created for thinkers. :-)
I have been adding a pen to my notebooks for years (even sent in pictures in case it might be thought a good idea - though never even received a response). I had tried an external pen, but they always got snagged, so not sure this is such a good idea in that respect.
When I get a new notebook, the first thing I do is remove approximately 10mm from the top of all the pages and then attach a pen holder and collapsible pen to the top of the inside front cover - perfect!
Hello,
I bought a Moleskine Iphone3 cover, and I cannot find any pen to fit inside!
I am looking for a pen with an touch-pad at the end and a rollerball (great with several colors!) on the other end.
The pen should not be longer than the dimension of the cover, and could be attached eiter on the cover itself or inside the cover... where you let a ring to hold ... the pen !!!
Go back on your autocad and bring us the right products.
Cheers
F.
If u make a notebook cover with a double pen loop, u don't have to worry about attaching a pen to the notebook. It acts as a secure closure for the notebook AND guarantees you always have a pen at the ready! Levenger has one they call SoulSkin in leather... You could make something sleeker in microfiber etc.

I bought two pens in New York and when I came back to Toronto bought another one and the triple pen holder with the slip-grips. So now I have a black, red and green and carry them proudly. Moleskine must make 0.7 Fine black roller refills more readily available. Writing with a mediuum 0.7 is too thick. Colour refills in 0.7 are OK though. Moleskine should make the aluminium pen more affordable. It is too pricey at this time.
