A new stop motion video by Dutch visual artist Rogier Wieland illustrates the Extra Small Planners, the super portable organizing tools introduced by Moleskine for people who love small writing and miniature design. Tiny, compact and colorful, they are the smallest planners in the Moleskine catalogue so far, just about the same size as a smarthphone or a pack of tissues (2 ½ x 4 inches). They come in pink, maroon, sky blue, blue, lime green and the classic black, strictly hard cover with a color-matching elastic closure.
The twelve monthly planners are available in two different layouts, dailyorweekly. The former has unlined, plain pages for every kind of notes, featuring moon cycles on top and icons for temperature and weather at the bottom. The latter, slim enough to fit into any pocket, is designed in a horizontal format to see the whole week at a glance.
This backstage video reveals Wieland's creativity, switching between graphic and motion graphic design, cut&paste, live action video and stop-motion techniques. Totally 533 animated pages.
