Haiku is a form of poetry from Japan: 3 verses with 5, 7 and 5 syllables, with no title. A great synthesis of idea and image. Fleeting words, quickly sketched images of nature, visions and paradoxes expressed by the haijin (the poet). Haiku does not describe, does not explain, it simply happens.
