Job description
Specific responsibilities include:
• Supporting implementation of action plans with the objective of exceeding sales goals. Support will include data collection and analysis, and researching and developing solutions.
• Working to identify and quantify new sales opportunities and implementing plans to grow sales at specific retail accounts.
• Developing promotional strategies in close coordination with the trade and marketing department.
• Monitoring overall sales to identify inventory and logistics needs.
• Analyzing competitive products and market landscape.
• Coordinating sales materials and product launches.
• Administrative tasks.
Reporting to the Director of Sales for the Trade division, the ideal candidate is well organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task, creative and resourceful, effective under pressure, has a strong sense of urgency when dealing with tight deadlines, works well independently as well as under management supervision and with a team. He or she will also have excellent written, analytical, and communication skills, and have an interest in sales, marketing, branding, and lifestyle products.
Additionally, we require the following:
Bachelor or Graduate degree with sales, marketing or quantitative background
Two or more years of sales (including sales support) or business analyst experience (in retail, publishing or other industries)
Legal right to work in the United States
Microsoft Office and Excel "power user"
Knowledge of the Italian language is a plus but not required
