Reiko Sudo

Sudo Sudo's notebook is an interesting cutwork, with different forms and 3D little pieces that seems to turn the book into a sculpture.

Born in Ibaragi, Japan. Completed postgraduate course at the Musashino Art College, in Textile Design. Worked as research assistant in textiles at as Musashino Art University, Department of Industrial, Interior and Craft design, then in 1984 helped found Nuno Corporation, where she is now CEO and Design Director. In 2002, she established the Nuno Works brand. She has received many awards like the Roscoe Award, Japan Interior Designers Association Award and the Mainichi Design Award. She has also taught in various Universities like the Musashino Art University and the Tokyo Zokei University. She has participated in numerous exhibitions worldwide and her works have been selected for the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Victoria & Albert Museum, Tokyo National Museum of Modern Art Craft Gallery and many other institutions.
