ICFF-HP.jpg Every year the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) brings hundreds of exhibitors to New York's Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, attracting crowds of design devotees looking for the latest innovations in furniture and interior design. The event is North America's leading showcase for designers, manufacturers and distributors, including companies specializing in seating, flooring, lighting, kitchen and bath fixtures, and accessories for residential and commercial interiors. With hundreds of representatives of top flight national and international firms on hand, the organizers face a massive challenge in making the show run smoothly--this year the ICFF commissioned a customized New York City Notebook to help keep everybody on the same page.


Moleskine City Notebooks, the latest addition to our collections, are the first guidebooks that you write for yourself.  With blank, tabbed sheets, plain pages, and city and public transportation maps, these urban travel guides are waiting to be filled with memories and inspiration from the users' experience of the city.  Allowing users to jot down restaurants they've discovered, neighborhoods they've explored, and sights they've seen, the City Notebook serves as a day-by-day journal, memento, and guide all in one.
The ICFF's organizers knew that a City Notebook would make a perfect gift for exhibitors visiting New York from all over the world. Since they appreciated the City Notebook's original paper band, with its edgy design and informative users guide on the reverse side, they did not elect to customize it for the project. Instead, the ICFF logo was dry debossed on the cover of the notebook, just below the paper band. Knowing how much value the Moleskine name added to the ICFF brand, they were also excited to include inserts with the notebook announcing Detour: the Moleskine City Notebook Experience, an art exhibit that accompanied the launch of Moleskine's North American line of City Notebooks.

We're also happy to say that the customized New York City Notebook was a favorite among exhibitors; the ICFF is already talking to Moleskine about designing the 2008 edition for next year's show.
