Regent Seven Seas Cruises

regent490.jpgRegent Seven Seas Cruises offers luxury journeys to more than 300 ports on all seven continents, offering travel to Africa and India, Asia and Australia, Alaska, Bermuda and the Caribbean, Latin America, Europe and the Mediterranean, Russia and Scandinavia. For those looking to circle the globe, Regent's World Cruise offers a 119-night itinerary, sailing from San Diego to Australia and Asia, then through the Indian Ocean and up the western African coast, before crossing the Atlantic to find its way back to the United States. On board, the ships offer a wide array of enrichment activities, from lectures on art and photography to Cabaret and Opera performances, music performances and the best in fine dining.

The aim is to not only provide an ultra-luxury experience, but also to present guests with insight into their destinations through lectures by award-winning experts in their field. Its fleet of vessels are designed for guests numbering in the hundreds, rather than the thousands, creating an atmosphere geared towards personal attention. The Seven Seas Navigator, for example, features all-suite, all-oceanview accommodations, 90% of which include a private balcony. The company landed the Best Mid-Size Cruise Line award by Zagat in 2009, the latest in a slew of honors consistenly bestowed upon Regent since the 1990s.

A traditional black, hardcover Moleskine notebook was created for Regent in December 2009, designed to be used for gifts to the company's VIPs and employees. The blue paper band, foil-stamped with Regent's logo in silver, is made of a highly textured paper stock, nearly resembling ocean waves. A second, embossed logo hides beneath it on the book's cover.
