The paper plain: Architizer A+ Awards

Architizer Custom Edition
Architecture is defined as the process and product of planning, designing and constructing. Towers, tubes and open spaces. Concrete, glass, natural materials, light and shade. A series of lines and forms that shape our environments, that we interact with on a daily basis.

Ink drops, pencil marks. Plans, sketches, concepts and considerations are noted and developed. Projects fly off the page: homes, hospitals, schools and tower blocks rise from the flat plain of the notebook, breaking through the sheets and swinging open the cover. Skyscrapers and staircases erupt out of the little black rectangle. The walls, windows and elevator shafts that started with paper find their purpose in the great outdoors.
