Around the world in 22 writers

incroci490.jpgTwenty-two authors from 16 countries, four days of sharing and comparing different cultures, ideas, ways of thinking. From May 19-22, join the Venice literary festival Incroci di Civiltà (Crossroads of Civilizations), where writers from all over the world talk of their works, cultures and experiences with scholars, journalists and everyday readers.

Incroci di Civiltà, promoted by the Comune di Venezia, the Assessorato alla Produzione Culturale and Venice University, is preparing for its third year. Writing is the starting point for discussing the most urgent topics of contemporary life -- all within the global perspective that typifies Venetian history and culture.

Among the authors: Héctor Habad, Vikram Seth, Marcello Fois, Tiziano Scarpa, Zhu Wen, Fariba Vafi, and Hoda Barakat.

Moleskine has created a limited edition notebook, customized both on the cover and on the paper band; it will be given to all the writers and the festival guests.
