Sketchnoting at re:publica 13

re:publica 13
How can you process, record and share all the information you absorb over the course of a conference?

Combine sketches and notes: interpret new knowledge graphically by sketchnoting your experiences. A visual form of note-taking, it lets you structure the words, thoughts and encounters all fighting for your attention in just a few strokes.

Sketchnotes allow you to think on paper, position yourself in the moment and capture key points instantly. But their lifespan goes beyond the page: their direct and highly illustrated nature makes for powerful digital content when uploaded online. Think of it as Augmented Notebooking.

Bloggers, social media experts and net activists sketchnoted on Special Edition Moleskine notebooks at re:publica 13 in Berlin. A rich programme of talks, workshops and events explored the transformation of digital society and the future of the internet through topics as diverse as gamification, open data, data-mapping, 3D printing, interactive design, storytelling and copyright. By sketchnoting the event, attendees were part of the mission to break down physical, practical and geographical barriers between Digital and Analog.
