Moleskine, publisher of legendary notebooks, is pleased to announce the new Art Journal, a tool for tracking, marking, organizing and recording your experience with art. This new title is designed to host notes, clippings, drawings, memories and thoughts generated by one's personal experience of art. The Journal includes a set of themed page layouts, calendars, glossaries, listings, and a core part of alphabetically organized and tabbed pages for you to fill in.
Through special informative sections, and themed forms and fields to fill in, the journal helps you have an in-depth art experience. While you use it you may think of possible answers to your questions, such as: how do my emotions influence my encounter with the artwork? What is the artist trying to express? Where do I encounter art in my life? Do I find reflections of this experience in my everyday life? How can I talk about my museum experiences?
The Art Journal has been written with the support and research of Art For Business, a young and passionate association that focuses on artistic language and its effect on people and organizations. It features a playful cover and includes: contemporary and modern art leading exhibitions list, contemporary Art History Timeline, 5 themed sections to fill in, 5 tabbed sections to personalize with the over 200 available adhesive labels. The journal has 240 pages, a double expandable inner pocket and a history booklet on Moleskine. Like all other titles of the Passion Collection, the Art Journal features the iconic Moleskine features such as round corners and an elastic closure. The acid free paper ensures that the journal will preserve memories for a lifetime.
The Art Journal joins the Passions Collection, with other 16 titles being Beer, Chocolate, Home Life, Restaurant-Dinning-Out Experiences, Style, Gardening, Dog, Cat, Travel, Baby, Recipes, Wine, Book, Film, Music and Wellness. All journals in the Moleskine Passions Collection are specifically designed as a personal archive to fill with their notes, stories and feelings.
Passions Journals page layouts can be downloaded at moleskine.com/templates. You can easily print them out and paste them into your Moleskine notebook. Enjoy filling your notebook with Passion.
The Passions Art Journal will be available on the Moleskine Store and on shelves worldwide starting from February 15, 2012.
