Beyond notebooks with pens, pencils, bags, booklights, reading stands and glasses for mobile living. Worldwide presentationin Milan, April 11th-22th,2011

Moleskine® introduces three newcollections dedicated to Writing, Travelling, and Reading. They include pens, pencils, bags, reading glasses, cases, reading stands and USB rechargeable booklights. They will join the existing collections of legendary Moleskine notebooks and planners as acomplete set of tools for cultural enjoyment and mobile living.

The three new collections will be first presented to the public during the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan, April 11th-22th2011.

Designed by Giulio Iacchetti, the objects of new collections are created to be perfectly compatible with each other and with the Moleskine notebooks and planners through special clips and holders. Detachable add-ons make them customizable and adaptable to different inclinations, as self-contained kits for the contemporary nomad. The new accessories retain many of the familiar features of the Moleskine notebooks: elastic band, smooth and rounded corners, black color, "in case of loss" label, and essential, contemporary-classic aesthetics.

The Writing,Travelling, and Reading Collections will be available in bookshops, department stores and design stores worldwide starting from April 2011, and during the Salone Internazionale del Mobile at the special Design Supermarket at the la Rinascente department store.

Giulio Iacchetti (born 1966) combines professional activity with teaching in various international universities. With the Moscardino, the multiuse biodegradable kitchen utensil he was awarded the Compasso d'Oro prize in 2001, together with his former studio partner Matteo Ragni. This object became part of the permanent design collection of The Museum of Modern Art in New York City. In May 2009 the Milan Triennale held a solo show of his work entitled "Giulio Iacchetti. Disobedient Objects".
