Windows into creativity at the Frankfurter Buchmesse - Hall 8 - H959
For the 60th anniversary of the Frankfurt Buchmesse, Moleskine presents its new Frankfurt citynotebook, thus increasing its collection. A special edition has been expressly created for the occasion, ideal twinning between Frankfurt and Istanbul, as a tribute to Turkey, special guest in 2008.

At the Moleskine booth ( see the images), Moleskine, again as a homage to Turkey, displays the notebooks of the three creative students from the Bilgi University in Istanbul:

Aslı Aydın - Gaye Başaran (special mention for graphic design; see  images  video)

The students took part in the myDetour Istanbul project, a Moleskine initiative in partnership with the Domus Academy and the Bilgi University.Their works along with other ones selected will be displayed at the next stage of the Detour project which will be held in Istanbul in spring 2009.

myDetour is a project promoted by Moleskine: a travelling exhibition dedicated to anyone who loves painting, taking pictures, drawing, writing or just be creative on their notebook in total freedom. It is an opportunity to share your creativity.

Detour is an exhibition featuring notebooks created by artists, architects, film directors, graphic designers, illustrators and writers recognized at an international level.

Through its two projects Detour/myDetour, Moleskine brings the world of art and that of the legendary notebook lovers together. The initiative has already involved several important capitals including London, New York, Paris, and soon, from 30th October to 16th November Moleskine will land in Berlin; also, an event in Istanbul is already scheduled for spring 2009.
