RIBA - The Royal Institute of British Architects Trust is the center
in England around which the world of architecture revolves. It serves
40,500 members worldwide, with training, technical services,
publications, and events. In 2008 that included promotion of the
exhibit "Le Corbusier - The Art of Architects."
The show
follows the extraordinary career of the architect, designer, writer,
and artist Le Corbusier (1887-1965) in the first important exhibit
dedicated to his life and work (the only presentation in Great Britain
in the last twenty years).

The exhibit opened in Liverpool, the European Cultural Capital for
2008, on October 2nd and will close on January 18, 2009. It is
extraordinary for the amount of material on display and for its
location: the crypt of Liverpool's Metropolitan Cathedral, which was
designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens in 1930 and is generally not used for
this kind of event.
RIBA wanted an object that would be useful
and interesting, and that would fit inside a pocket, to give to the
exhibit participants: the press, the media, and architects.

The answer was found in a personalized Moleskine notebook. The Moleskine/Le Corbusier notebook has a paper band made specially for the event and a cover that is embossed with an elegant logo showing the name of the exhibit. Besides being a welcome gift for the participants, the notebook is on sale on the web-site of Riba Bookshops.
