Eiji Miyamoto



Miyamoto Miyamoto's notebook is a collective of sketches of weaving techniques, textile swatches and some fashion design ideas of the designer.

Born in Tokyo, Japan in 1948 graduated from the Hosei Univerity in Tokyo in 1970. He is a textile designer who works independently and also in collaboration with notable designers, such as Yohji Yamamoto and Issey Miyake. Inspired by his culture's traditions as well as the possibilities of new technology, Miyamoto's woven fabrics are inspired design. His works can be seen at the the Victoria & Albert Museum, London, the Museum of Modern Art, New York and the Saint Louis Art Museum.
