Adobe's customized Moleskine notebooks were given as gifts to internal staff, software development partners and a large and incredibly diverse number of clients. Adobe needed the gift to be versatile and able to satisfy divergent audiences, so it chose to customize both large ruled and large plain notebooks.
Moleskine designed three distinct notebooks, each with their own paper band, for the Creative Suite 3, Flash and Fireworks products. The former were debossed in clear foil with the striking Creative Suite 3 logo, while the paper bands integrated Adobe's standard advertising designs. The latter notebook was dry debossed with the Fireworks logo, emphasizing the importance of the new offering in the company's strategy. Adobe also ordered a small run of customized notebooks featuring a classic Moleskine paper band, which added further value to the campaign. Each notebook carried the Adobe logo foil stamped in clear foil on the back cover.
