Each equipped with a Milan City Notebook, a group of international new talents from Austria, China, India and Singapore walked the streets of Milan in search of stories, characters and fresh perspectives. The students, selected from the Domus Academy, the internationally recognized school of art and design, were thinking about the city and the upcoming EXPO 2015, to take place in Milan.
The experience resulted in a series of decorated notebooks that are traveling around the world to represent Milan EXPO 2015.
After an exhibition in Istanbul, as part of the travelling myDetour project, a selection of these works went to Osaka. There, they were displayed at EXPO X EXPO, the international roadshow dedicated to the past and present of the Universal Expos.
Now, the notebooks can be seen at the Shanghai EXPO 2010, which is dedicated to the theme of Better city, better life. Shanghai will host a new edition of the Detour travelling exhibition in October 2010. They will be on display until October 31, 2010.
