Notebooks from Naples. myDetour 5x5 at the fourth leg.

The creative relay of myDetour 5x5 opens today in Naples, with an exhibition of illustrated notebooks selected from the previous cities and a drop box for collecting new contributions from the creative community of Naples, at la Feltrineli bookshop in via S.Caterina a Chiaia.

The notebooks will be exhibited until october the 11th.  

The myDetour 5x5 project is dedicated to people who love to paint, take photos, illustrate, write and create freely on Moleskine blank pages. The most remarkable works collected in the drop boxes will be shown in the next leg, at la Feltrinelli in Rome from october 21 to november 15.

5 stops in 5 Italian cities, 5 notebooks selected in each city. Final destination: Africa. The 25 selected notebooks will be exhibited at the Biennale de l'art africain contemporain, May 2010. The author of the one most remarkable notebook will be invited to Dakar.

After Milano, Florence, Parma it's now the turn of Naples, a famous destination of international travel writers and artists. Hosting this Neapolitan stop and the opening is artist Simonetta Capecchi, urban sketcher based in Naples: http://inviaggiocoltaccuino.blogspot.com/
