Chateau Les Ormes de Pez and Chateau Lynch-Bages
These produce wines of great quality and have made a flourishing business possible. Chateau Les Ormes de Pez is named after the village of Pez, near St-Estèphe, and was rated one of the nine "Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnels" in 2003. Its eighty-three and a half acres are cultivated with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. The annual production is fifteen thousand cases.
Chateau Lynch-Bages is in the controlled zone of Pauillac and its wine was rated one of the eighteen "Cinquièmes Crus" in the Official Classification of Wines of Bordeaux in 1855.Firms of this quality have sought the cooperation of Moleskine in designing a personalized product of the highest standard that would meet the needs of a public devoted to uniqueness. This project has brought to fruition the design of two exclusive large-format lined notebooks. The paper band on the notebook for Chateau Lynch-Bages is made from special paper stock and is personalized with the wine label and a refined blind-embossed image of the logo
For Chateau Les Ormes de Pez the paper band is made of embossed stock with the logo printed in relief. The cover has the entire logo, also embossed, with an elegant depiction of the tree after which the wine is named, as the French word orme means elm.Moleskine has paid great attention to detail on this project, from the quality of paper, both inside the notebook and for the paper bands, to the choice of format. The result is the creation of two unique products for the shops located at the vineyards.
