Will you release an Android version?
How about a Blackberry version, or even one for the Kindle?
Just downloaded the iPad edition , looks great,
I would have loved if I could have printed my notes on iPad , so I could attach it to any of my moleskin.
I am sure it will bcome soon .
Great app. It works perfect. Right now, investigating it. Perhaps I will discover an option to import notes from iPhone and/or Notes from Outlook.
iOS 4.2? sad... that's more than my 2G ipod touch can handle properly...
Hope a new version can be used in iOS 4.0....
This is a great app. I like that I can draw on the same page I have text. It did take me a few minutes to figure out how to activate the drawing tool, you open the tool select screen, touch the tool you want to use, and on the options page you touch the check mark to activate the tool. This takes you back to your last open page and you can draw. When you are done drawing, touch the input options icon, touch the text icon to open its options screen, touch the check mark and you are back to the text mode again.
Only question so far, is when will it be integrated with Drop Box?
I will want to be able to print out my pages or share them at some point.
Nice start. Cool features would be;
Ability to sync notes between iPad and iPhone (and maybe a desktop version).
Ability to print in template formats so they can be pasted into moleskine sketchbooks.
Option to wrap text around drawings rather than going underneath.
Audio note option.
app is good but i think must be added such as some functions.
1-AirPrint Function.By the function user must be able to print the text on ruled, squared or blank.
2-Text options such as Noteworthy,Helvetica and Marker felt must be added.
3- For sending text as email.Drawings and photos must be added as attached jpeg.
4-App must let user to write latitude and longitude and altimeter at the bottom right or left side of the paper when select geospot.
5- For all of these notes synchronizing and ability to write & read on mac/pc i think there must be a desktop app.And this app must let user to choose msk and let user to print msk that created.
I have no suggestions to add features; I feel there are too many now. The one thing I find most interesting about this iOS app is how long-established and familiar Macintosh user interface conventions are being interpreted by international application designers.
Moleskine might consider providing a comprehensive user guide that explains the over-simplified interface diagrams but, actually, experimenting and randomly pushing buttons will be more interesting than reading a manual. However, it's not like you've merely created a digital analog of your paper products; this is a complex app stuffed with capabilities. YOu really should provide more information for those of us who have less patience.

What a great app. Installed it on my IPod Touch and it works 100% perfect. Looking forward using it on a daily basis as I have always carry my dear IPod everywhere.
It will take some time getting use to it, but I'm looking forward too. :)
Again, thanx for this great app.
Wonderful! And likely to become the core reason for backing up my iPad weekly. The first App I had hoped for when buying the iPad, glad to see it a reality.
Switching between text and drawing could be simpler. Why hasn't someone recorded a YouTube video showing the basics?
In my many Moleskin books, I write on a page and when I run out of space on that page, I simply flip to the next page and carry on. That simple, intuitive act does not seem possible on your iPad app. I cheerily and colorfully (thanks to the many ink colours) filled up the first page...then hit a dead end. what now? I have no idea. There are no instructions available, and simply flipping the page does not work.
And so I send my one happy page via e-mail to a friend, but they report back that they received a blank e-mail!!
Please take care of these two things and I will be glad to use the app. The others suggestions of printing so we can paste pages in our Moleskins are excellent.
The beginnings of a great app. I agree with an earlier post in that you should be able to turn the page and carry on with whatever you are writing. I would also like to see different fonts available, especially a script.
I don't particularly like the frames around pictures. Possibly, in future versions an option could be available for no frame, different frames, and different colors.
Agreed. I hate to admit how long it took me to figure out how to type text.
Good start! However.......
I have an iPad2 met Smart Cover for using the app. With Smart Cover on, it's easiest to type sideways (I know it's not the original Moleskine way), but the app does not flip-over sideways!
Any chance??
Hello, when i first downloaded the app, i can draw and add text or images, but in the next day, the drawing function was not working, then i tried to redownloaded it for few times, until now, that function still out of order, please advise what to do, thanks.
Cherie
This could become my favourite note-taking app. (iPad version) However, as others have noted, a few changes in future updates would make it better. Here are my suggestions...
The ability to toggle between writing and drawing mode at the top of each page.
The ability to easily add pages to the same note. (a + button?)
A few more options for displaying imported images. (with or without frame border, keep original aspect ratio etc)
The ability to export the whole note including drawings, pics etc.
The ability to rearrange the order of notes. (they are currently just arranged by date, unless I'm missing something)
I think that's all for now. Great work so far though!
Love the design, but the inability to type in landscape mode is a deal killer. Add to that the hassle required to switch between text and drawing modes, and this just isn't worth it to me. I deleted this from my iPad after 30 minutes.
Be very careful if using a bluetooth keyboard like Logitech from Zagg. Switching from entering text to any other activity will delete whatever you had typed on a consistent basis. Otherwise, it has potential and I look forward to future updates.
Android version please.
Any chance of ever adding sync or search? This'd be my be-all-end-all if it had those two features.
A very nice start indeed! I like the look and feel of the Moleskine app on the iPad. So far, I have one small bug and a few feature requests.
Bug: I copied a plain-text note from Evernote into a new Moleskine notebook. In edit mode, the hard returns looked fine. When I moved back to view/read mode, some of the hard returns were lost, moving the text back up into the previous paragraph. I've tried several times to re-insert the hard returns, but they're not always sticking.
Feature request: It might be nice to be able to highlight some paragraphs and then turn them into a numbered list. There are lots of times when lists are great. An unordered/billeted list feature might also be nice.
Feature request: It might be nice to add bold, italic, and underline to the font. I like the current font, so aren't looking for more fonts, just bold, italic, and underline... So we can add a little emphasis to our notebooks and journals.
Feature request: It would be nice if I could back up my Moleskine notebooks to Dropbox. Sending to Facebook, Twitter, or via email are good and while I assume the notebooks will be backed up when synced via iTunes, it would be nice to be able to also upload them to Dropbox.
Feature request: perhaps run a contest to gain ideas for enhancing the Moleskine app, with the winner of best/most ideas getting a large Moleskine ruled notebook. As great as the app is, we intrepid world travelers would eventually find ourselves without our iPad/iPhone and there would be nothing better than to jot down "stuff" in a real Moleskine notebook.
Thanks for this app! I like it and think it could become on of the primary apps I use very regularly.
great app! nice to see moleskine, the godfather of notebooks is the first also to make a notebookapp that is progressive and complete (sketches, photos,...)
just two future request
- an app for mac in the app store that synchronize with the iphone/ipad
- dropbox functionality
I love my Moleskine notebooks and this great little app is almost as good as the real thing. It has already replaced my previous notebook app :) Thanks Moleskine!
However, in its first release I've found a couple of bugs and have some suggestions for updates...
BUGS:
1. Hitting the tiny buttons/icons seems a little hit and miss and doesn't work every time.
2. When you go to assign a category, in the list of categories, if the one you want is at the bottom, part of it is obscured and it's hard to select it easily.
REQUESTS/WISH LIST:
1. Landscape mode for any text entry
2. Ability to sort index by category, date or title. Doing it manually by sliding up and down is fine
3. Ability to print (AirPrint)
4. Ability to edit item titles
5. Ability to enter date & time
a. Automatically timestamp now
b. Manual (wheel-type) date & time chooser for entries where
date is added later
If you added the extra functionality I'd happily pay for the app.
I know this may sound silly, but:
How does one delete a note from the iPhone app? Can one do it?
Failed to grasp this so far.
Thanks!
I like everything about it so far, but it will not allow drawing for me on this now old iPhone3G. I can pick color and brush size, but then nothing. Otherwise, Jolly Good Show....
Very exciting so far.
Bug: Twitter integration doesn't work. It says the page dosnt exist.
Feature request: email option to save as image vs just text.
Feature request: send to Evernote
Feature request: same as others noted above
Thanks!
I would very much like to write horizontally... for me that's number 1 to improve.
Number 2 would be: when sharing to Facebook, share with the picture that we chose to embed in the text.
But I love it so far, and already shared the app on my Facebook. ;)
Update: Twitter integration now working, but would love the ability to embed photos and drawings when sharing wi Twitter, Facebook, and email. Its no fun to share when you can't share everything!!
Great start, but it's hard to turn page, seems the button or hot area is not very accurate. And I have to make multi-return in text mode to create a new page, how can I make it in draw mode? Thanks a lot.
my loooooong awaited app finally here, cheers!
a bit of feedback:
1- sketch doesn't seem to work.
2- i started copying notes from text files i had, however, flipping from page to page is rather cumbersome and not fluid. any chance it might become scrollable?
3- dropbox sync. i'm just waiting for this much!
thanks a lot!
All I need for this to be ideal app is sync between devices and printing in MSK format.
Otherwise, great app!
This is beautifully presented but a bit buggy. I lost alot of great writing and was unsuccessful in my attempts to retrieve the work. I discovered that the 'help' page was quite unhelpful. I agree with the comments above about a more comprehensive guide to using app. I get the intention to have it be simple but perhaps too simple and not an accurate reflection of the functions. The save button appears on the help page but not the app itself.
Landscape and dropbox would also be great, especially if the other bugs get fixed.
The app doesn't work on my iPhone 4. Cannot draw nor delete notes.
Moleskine deserves a better app or improve tgis one
I have been anxious for this app as I love the paper products. But was disappointed to find out it did not support landscape orientation. I can't type on the on screen keyboard in portrait. Seems like a pretty simple fix. Please!
Support for Landscape orientation and sync between iphone and ipad is a must have feature.
Maybe sync using dropbox service.
With those features it would definitely be a daily use app.
Without those, wouldn't use it.
Buona applicazione con ottima grafica: l'ho adottata al posto di Evernote.
Suggerimenti:
a) possibilità di visualizzare gli appunti per categorie (attualmente è visualizzabile solo la lista dei singoli appunti);
Complimenti
It looks great but if it would be possible to choose active font - it would be better. And obviously this application must support landscape in all modes.
Great app with huge potential...
Love the ui...
Would like to see support for stylus - meaning that I do a lot on annotating and would like to use a stylus to make edits, however must keep arm up so only the stylus makes contact (not my normal writing style, and god help if lefty if they tried to do it)...some how the app "penultimate" has figured it out...if you can your app is perfect...
Please release an Android version.
Is there any way that you can update this to a newer version that will enable me to turn my iphone to landscape and type on its side.
It's difficult to always type portrait style. Cramps the fingers sometimes, PLEASE & THANK YOU!!
Also, Great app by the way. This is my absolute favorite. Another request would be to organize notes by category!!
Much appreciated because this will make things much more accessible. Landscape typing, and option for reading/finding notes based on category!!
The app is really good, I use it often. But there are also some limitations which are not that tiny..
-there should be a possibility to do an export (text-format or a format which can be assimilated with another Moleskine app on an another device without problems)
-writing in landscape mode should be definitely be possible, but just if a note is opened...otherwise the design of the app will be disturbed (in my opinion)
-a password-lock, which CAN be activated...but truly that is not really important
-the catalogue should be integrated and display-optimised so that everyone can use it without Internet and read it more easily
-WIFI sync
-category-view, show just that category which you want to see right now!
Last but not least: I hope there will be an price which should be around 2,39? and 3,99?...the app without a price doesn't seem to fit in the view on Moleskine...even if it is advertisement...it gives a functionality which shouldn't be priceless..
Would be nice, if all this points can be implemented! Would be very nice! =)
Hi, I would like to know how I would be able to delete a note in the Moleskine app. Thank you.
I am just getting started using the app Nd so far, so good. I do want to add my voice to others to let the app rotate to landscape mode. This makes text entry just a bit more easy with the larger keyboard. I make fewer typing mistakes this way.
Thank you
@Gwatsmiles
To delete a Thought in the Moleskine App, you have to swap on the title like you do to delete a SMS or to unlock the phone.
Thanks a lot,
Andrea
Looks great so far - but please please can I have one change if possible.
Please can you make it on a landscape setting??
I hate writing on portrait mode and I think a lot of people prefer to write on a landscape mode.
As above rotate would be good, also versions of prebuilt journals like in paper
I have used the sketchbooks for many years so u was excited to see this app... what a disappointment!!
Nice sparse styling but fiddly, unintuitive and annoying to use. Couldn't get the sketch tool to work and it's unclear what the navigation buttons do, you go to help to see the descriptions of where stuff is and it doesn't match your screen!
Nice idea but a dud, especially since it's a tool that should be very quick and easy to access...
Can we get the auto-rotate feature on the iPad to work, the long (not wide) view is the only one that works
I really like the app... but there are two significant flaws that need addressing.
Most important is the ability to switch to landscape mode. This is essential for typing and seems an extremely strange oversight in the design processes.
The other is to allow it to be integrated into dropbox
I would like to share with you an interesting app for Ipad it is called eMenu (by conceptic)and it is an Ipad menu (there is also an android menu but the Ipad menu looks better). Check this out :
http://www.emenu-international.com/iPadMenu
So what do you think ?
This is a good application.
I would like to report a quality issue with iPad application.
It does not support landscape view, which makes it difficult to type.
Is this issue under consideration ?
What about changing text size and color within the text.
Love the app. But it absolutely needs to work sideways.... Cant really use it for typing because of it:(
Oh, and switching between text and drawing could be easier
The Moleskine for iPad looks like a great app, but I can't use it. There is no obvious way to edit and item. You have esoteric buttons to add diagrams, etc, but not a simple "Edit" button? Poor design.
I just wish that i could flip it to landscape mode on my ipad2 and type away.... it would make life so much better.
by now I want rate it four star... I'll give five when tha app will be fully compatible with iPad features in particular the landscape mode!!!
Thx
I like the app, but it needs to be updated so it can be opened or orgianized by category, date, or alphanumerically, so the data can be accessed easily. Maybe even Page numbers at the bottom of the page with a page flip setting.

This app could be amazing if there was msk integration.
I too cannot draw in the App on my Iphone 3GS (latest software). However, there are a few other issues as well which have already been mentioned and, I am sure, will be fixed in due course. However, I would like to add that although the App is currently free, I would be happy to pay a modest fee for it, if programming effort were put in to really make this App fly.
I love both the iPad and iPhone apps but would love a way to sync both so that I could write on one, pause, and continue on another.
This App is very, but very bad. What happens with the other app that you show in http://youtu.be/bromfSEuUxk. That app can change everything :)Cool music btw!
This app has such great potential. I see amazing attention to detail, and I love it. But it's severely lacking in some features: can't add new page (I have to fill in the first before moving to the second); no landscape support; text is not entered directly on the notebook, making formatting tricky with images.
And in general, although it's so well thought in many ways, it still feels a little foreign to navigate/use. For example, although help buttons was littered all over the place (a little annoying), I still took a minute to figure out how to enter text. Tapping didn't work. After a bit I realized double tapping brought up a text box. And under settings I could insert an image as a cover, but I couldn't find that anywhere after.

Great App! Now, it would be very useful to have a desktop (Mac & PC) version to have the possibility to sync the notes.
i need it for blackberry
Help! I absolutely love that you have an app for the ipad! However, most of the ipad keyboard solutions force you to use the ipad in landscape mode. Is there an update for the app scheduled to allow entry in landscape mode? Unfortunately, I can't really use consistently until there is.
Thank you for being forward thinking in this move. Eager to hear further!
How do you get an image you sketched to email? On share....it only sends text.
I agree with everything in this review: http://www.betanews.com/joewilcox/article/Moleskine-for-iPad-Write-at-your-own-risk/1303269977
Please, make your app as easy to use as your notebooks! And then I will use it at the expense of all others.
Great app. Please give me a search function and/or a sort function by category, date and alphanumerically. Landscape would be good, as would sync function with my PC/laptop.
I agree with all that have said this is a great app, but sorely needs a sync option to be fully functional. I love my moleskin books, having a fully functional app with sync between devices would be a perfect companion!
Thank you.
Just got this app today. I love it. I could be missing it, but does anyone know if my iPhone notes will sync with my iPad notes, even through iTunes?
Well I got the app a couple of days ago. First I loved it and started to use it as the main notebook. However today I realised that all my previous notes/thoughts had gone. They have all vanished from the application. Then I started to search for the save option maybe I could save or find my notes. Unfortunately I couldn't found it. In help section there is only the symbol of save option. But in reality there is no such a thing as save option. And my posts, all of them vanished! Is there is no save option then how do we protect and save our notes??
I should've made a copy some of it! Cause I lost really really important notes... So I think traditional notebooks are way better than the digital ones! At least you know that you lost all the data and notes you have when you lost your notebook, loosing a data while you have the notebook is horrible.
I am not going to use Moleskine app anymore. iPad's notebook is more secure... Over a year I am using my iPhone and never lost a data from the notebook =/
Great to have MSK electronically. Have use it. Besides comments made before for landscape view suggestion would also to upload to any pc, providing backup and better folder structure. I start having a lot of notes in different categories. For pictures to copy into file should also be able to rotate. Last but not least would be great to have your various templates as electronic versions to be used so content can be provided electronically. Guess you have to decide whether you want to go the full mile with an electronic MSK.
I had high high hopes. I want to take notes, take a photo or insert one from album on IPAD and then send it to drop box or email it.
when i emailed notebook, nothing was attached. I would like there to be a pdf version of the notebook.
If I am missing something, please let me know.
Hi guys!
When I download Moleskine App I found it freakin' awesome. Because, you know, I've got two most fabulous and amazing thing in my bag and, you know, it is Moleskine and iPad. So, when I discovered that I can have, like, you know, Moleskine, iPad and Moleskine on iPad I was like "Man! Can I handle with so much awesomness?". Anyway, I write and draw a few, use app like, you know, for five minutes and than... one little sync mistake and it's just disapear from my iPad. Whatever, it wasn't like big tragedy or something because the app is free and I can download it, like, whenever I want to, am I right? So I do, I download app again. But unfortunately in this time I couldn't draw or insert pictures. Yeah, that's a bammer. So, I try to make it work, start thinking and stuff, and than I realise that probably there isn't problem with app, I mean I'm not just, you know, CAN NOT draw I'm, like, not even know HOW TO DRAW. I ain't remember how I did this at first time. Guess I just lucky. So this coldhearted app driving me crazy for whole three hours, till I finally make a decision to ask for help from my old buddy who's name is Google. And I have to tell you that I read like, like half of the whole Internet and stuff, and figured out it's not just me with this kind of problem. I mean, there lot of people who complain about this sketching thing, right? So I saw people whining about drawing and they said it's really hard to get. And I was like "Geez! If this is so difficult, why noone didn't write a simple instruction yet?". I mean, look, you shouldn't worry if someone too dumb to figure out something obvious and clear, but if it's like a hundred people bitching over Interwebs may be you might think of it, don't you? I mean, the point is - if a bunch of people have a trouble (wich they surely have) it's like a very good moment for propound easy solution and stuff to them.
Well. If you still here I bet right now you ask a question to yourself "For Christ sake, what the hell am I reading?!". I truely understand that all this stuff I just wrote might seem a overextended to you. Don't want to waste your time no more, so I'll use as few word as possible. All I'm trying to say that I will be very thankfull if somebody explain to me how to draw or sketching in Moleskine app.
Hi,
First of all thanks so much for your comment. Feedbacks are so much important to us.
As far as the sketchin activity, the help menu should be enough explicative of what you can do with it.
That said we have just approached the App world and this is our first free official application.
Our will is to deliver to you the best Moleskine experience for your mobile device and in doing so we want you to be the leading actor of improvement process.
That's why we want hear any kind of feedback or suggestion you need to share with us.
Any entry will be taken in consideration for future version of the application.
Thanks a lot.
Andrea
Hi I have just downloaded the app, but using iOS5 I am unable to sketch or import images - does anyone else experience this on the new iOS5?
I downloaded the application and reinstall several times, but I can not draw, neither insert pictures. Maybe, I do not know hot to do, but I tried and tried... I have read supra one comment about how to do, but I am not able to understand de instructions because I do not find in de application the tools that the user explains. I am an advanced user of software, www, iPhone, etc... Please, someone can help me?
@MAstilleroF
PS On the other hand, I like the app so much, as Moleskine's!

I'm going to add my voice to those who are asking for a landscape mode. Without it, I won't use this app. With it, it's my favorite note-taking app.
Suggestions:
1. Currently insert objects/photos is not working, and nor is drawing. Update to allow simpler switching between tools, and of course so that these tools work.
2. Landscape! This is huge.
3. Use the cloud
4. Emailing of notes - would be great if it worked properly
5. Allow page to be added instead of having to 'return' your way to additional pages
Hi,
This app is not working on iPad 1 with ios 5. I can't draw nor can I insert pictures.
Please fix it so that the app is usable.
Also the possibility of flipping to go to a new page is highly desirable
Hello,
love the App and the opportunity to have Moleskine on my iPhone. I would appreciate a zoom function on iPhone to write bigger like e.g. NoteTaker for iPhone or UPad for iPad.
Then it would be brilliant!
Regards
Dominic
I used to enjoy this app.
You could draw, type, and insert pictures.
But with the last update, no more...
When are you going to fix this TARFU.
(Note: TARFU fits between SNAFU and FUBAR.)
I have the iPad 2 with ios5 - the app doesn't appear to work. You cannot sketch, nor do the menu button options appear at the top of the screen. Was so excited to download the app, but now really disappointed.
I cant find the option to use the draw tool. I found it once but can't get it working again.
This app is a brilliant idea from a great company and very poorly executed. Very poor help. Non intuitive. No voce recording no Dropbox. No printing. No import / export. No spell check. No rotation. Poor navigation.
Please release an updated version - or at least a how to use video. I want ths to work. I have used paper products for many years and want to use this product, which, unfortunately is largely unuseable.
To a better future.
Ian
It doesn't work correctly in my iPad2 I only can type but no insert images or draw...
Please correct those bugs.
Fix this buggy app. I keep losing parts of my writings. And then even if I go back to edit more later, it won't let me write after the end of what I wrote before.
Kindle app? :)
@Andrea
Unable to do a few things on iPad app:
1. Sketching - once I select the thickness and color and come back to the page and try to sketch ... nothing happens!
2. Images are not loading on the note page
3. Any plans of integrating the Moleskine login to the app so that we can store/access notes through moleskine MSK website as well?
Cheers
Namit
Unfortunately, I have also been unable to access the sketching function. And to say that I am disappointed in the lack of landscape typing is an understatement. Would that I could turn my iPad just the same as my Moleskin notebook and keep writing! I hope this app is updated soon...
Hello everyone and thanks for your feedbacks. It seems that on the iPad 2 the application doesn’t behave correctly, and seems unresponsive especially with the drawing tool. Even if an application update it is not expected to come out shortly, we are in the process of collecting all of your suggestions as a starting point. Since we would like to let you have the best Moleskine experience possible on your mobile device, we would like to face the development process with as many requests and feedbacks as we can, firmly believing that there’s room for improvement for the next release of the application.
I have had issues with drawings in the iPad app also.
The main suggestion I have is iCloud integration so when I make/edit a note in my iPhone it updates in my iPad also, and vice-versa.
I also think that the option to automatically geotag all notes, and add additional tags when they are edited at a different location, would be useful for categorising thoughts: and bring able to sort thoughts on the screen by their geotag or by their category would be a definite bonus.
The app simply doesnt work. I cannot insert images. The picture is chosen but the app simply ignore the command and returns to the page.
I cannot make sketches, the tool is selected and doesnt work. I'm just able to write texts with the keypad. I've already seen video tutorials for the app and its just way different from what i have downloaded. You guys have to fix it. Very very frustating
It would be neat to publish the notes/sketches on Facebook with the same MOLESKINE lay-out (paper style and text style). Not just plain text. Or is it just me not knowing all the features?
This app would be great if and only if its creators took it seriously.
There are major bugs. I cant add a picture in any way. This feature is advertised as one of the main features of this app.
Also when I type on my iPad I like to have it sideways, and this app will no go sideways with my iPad. Please fix this soon or I will delete this app because it is just not real good the way it is.
4 features would be handy:
• keep iphone dashboard on top of screen. (time etc)
• activate bold/italic/underline function of iOS 5.
• hyperlinks for websites and email addresses!!!
• page scrolling (like in iPhone Notes) instead of emulating page flipping which does not work very smoothly anyway. Scrolling down the entire note is so much faster.
Otherwise, love this app.
I cannot get this app to import pictures or sketch. Can anybody help please as this is very frustrating :(
Key's posibility for each note
Send to Evernote is a must.
I have the same problem. I can't seem to make it work.
I cannot get the app to work on my iPad. I can enter text but none of the other features seem to be workingb what am I doing wrong?
How the heck do you use this. I really really want to be able to use this app but nothing I do seems to make my notes work. I cannot even get to the typing of the new note.
To get the drawing tool to work, click on the sketch icon and then choose your color and line size. Once you have done this, you will see the color icon to the left, the size icon to the right, and a small check mark between these at the bottom. Click on the check mark. Next a box will appear that says "Abc Text overlay" with an option for On or Off. Choose On. Close the box in the top left corner. Then begin to draw. You can undo and redo with the arrows at the top, and toggle between the drawing and erasing tool in the top bar as well. When you are in drawing mode, you should see an eraser at the top. Click the eraser to erase and the pen will appear. To type: click on the text icon, click the check mark at the bottom, and the double click on the page. Then you can begin typing. Hope this helps.
The draw and insert image functions work fine on my iPhone, but neither work on my iPad 2. It would be really great if these worked OR I could sync the two. That way I could insert my images on my phone and then open it on my iPad. There's promise here. Thanks.
