A scribe-robot writes thoughts and comments collected from the Internet, using the new Moleskine pens. A transparent box inserted in a large reading table showcases a selection of decorated notebooks from Detour, the Moleskine travelling exhibition curated by Raffaella Guidobono.
The public contributed to the installation, by sending their writings via web, which the Scriba will then transcribe. A large participatory area surrounds the robot, open to the public with seats, benches, tables, and tablets for flicking through the new Moleskine App for iPad. Here showcased is a small selection of designers: Tord Boontje, Fernando e Humberto Campana, Giulio Iacchetti, Setsu & Shinobu Ito, Joep van Lieshout, Julia Lohmann, Nicolas Gwenael, Patricia Urquiola. The Scriba installation is part of the main event of the Fuorisalone: Interni Mutant Architecture&Design. A Moleskine special edition notebook accompanies the event.
