2006 Tribeca Film Festival

Founded in 2002, the Tribeca Film Festival was established in response to 9/11 to celebrate New York City as a major filmmaking center and contribute to the recovery of lower Manhattan. This dynamic cultural event, which is redefining the film festival experience for both the international film community and the general public, chose Moleskine to communicate its message and help audiences experience the power of film.

As a media partner for the festival, Moleskine notebooks became an integrated component of Tribeca's communications strategy. Moleskine took the Tribeca Film Festival's bold and expressive logo, used on posters, banners and festival marketing collateral, and made it the centerpiece of a diversified line of products.

Two notebooks were customized for the festival, demonstrating Moleskine's flexibility as a communications tool: a ruled reporter's notebook and a large blank notebook. The limited edition reporter's notebook was offered for sale as official festival merchandise, while the large blank notebook was offered as an exclusive gift for invited guests.
 
Both notebooks included the Tribeca Film Festival logo foil stamped in white on the front cover. The paper band on each notebook was designed in the style of the festival's posters and banners, featuring the festival logo and its vibrant colors. In addition, the large blank notebook came in a striking black sleeve box, foil stamped with the festival logo, emphasizing its value for VIP guests.
