Arts & Entertainment Television Networks
Arts & Entertainment Television Networks is one of the leading producers and broadcasters of television content in the United States, owning seven channels that include the A&E Network and the History Channel. Over the last two years, Moleskine has developed a close working relationship with AETN, creating several customized notebooks for different AETN channels. The relationship began with a small project for the History Channel that was very popular among both staff and clients, so popular in fact that the organization ran out of books much faster than it had anticipated. While discussing a second edition of the notebook, AETN showed a strong interest in commissioning customized Moleskine notebooks for its other channels.
It's only natural that AETN and Moleskine have formed such a strong partnership, since the two organizations share similar values. As part of its commitment to providing educational resources and encouraging community service, AETN is involved in a broad range of initiatives designed to make lasting educational contributions throughout society. Likewise, Moleskine reaches out to partner with organizations large and small involved in the arts, design, education and culture. Promoting creativity is one of the central pillars of Moleskine's brand philosophy, and the history of Moleskine attests to its role in modern culture.
In addition to the History Channel, AETN has commissioned customized notebooks for A&E, A&E Home Video and AETN International. The notebooks are used as gifts for participants in a range of internal team meetings all over the world, as well as gifts for business partners and clients. The notebooks also make a great tool for promoting new programming. Large, ruled Moleskine notebooks with the classic orange paper band form the basis for each AETN customization, with dry debossing of the channel logo placed on the front cover. The composition of each job aims for a subtle, subdued presentation, as AETN highly values the brand synthesis offered by using the Moleskine name on their customized notebooks.
We're working on a few more special projects for AETN, and this television powerhouse is using its custom edition Moleskine notebooks to help it do business all over the world.
