Anita Kunz was born in Toronto in 1956, and attended Ontario College of Art. Since then she has worked for international magazines, publishers and advertising agencies, including The New York Times, GQ, Sony Music, and Random House. Using a combination of watercolors and gouache, she has produced critically acclaimed paintings which have been featured in galleries world wide. She conducts lectures at universities and institutions and has been honoured with prestigious awards. Her works are in the permanent collections at the Library of Congress and Musee Militaire de France in Paris. She currently lives in Toronto where she continues to work and teach.
