The Tokyo exhibition features 23 new Japanese authors, who contributed to the project by donating their illustrated notebooks to the non profit lettera27 Foundation, thus joining the Detour travelling collection.
After wearing special cotton gloves, visitors of MoMA Design Store could enter a intimately illuminated tunnel and actually touch notebooks, establishing a direct relationship with the authors' creative process as it unfolds on the pages.
