Borders is a
lettera27 project aimed at documenting migration and migratory routes through Africa. The Borders project supports the Italian language school and the
computing,
theatrical and
audiovisual labs run by Italian NGO Asinitas. This experience also originated a few feature films, collective works created with the contribution of the classes.
Among them the prize winner
As A Man on Earth (original title:
Come un uomo sulla terra), released in 2008 by Riccardo Biadene, Andrea Segre and Dagmawi Yimer, about the journey to Italy of a group of immigrants through Libya.
