How can I solve writing problems?

Make sure that your smart device and operating system are compatible (for more information: "Is my device compatible with the Smart Writing System?") with the Moleskine Smart Pen
Make sure that your Moleskine Smart Pen firmware and app software are updated to the latest version
You can update your firmware version in the app by going to:
Main Menu
Firmware Update
Make sure that the sensor (oval part adjacent to the pen tip) is facing downwards and is reasonably straight when writing
Make sure there is no interference in the form of bright light (ex. sunlight, spotlights)
Try restarting your Moleskine Smart Pen by holding the power button for at least 10 seconds
Try formatting (for more information: "How do I format the Moleskine Smart Pen?") your Moleskine Smart Pen
Try adjusting 'Pen Pressure Calibration', accessible via:
Main Menu
Pen Information
Calibration Setting
Make sure your Moleskine Smart Pen power is on.
Try taking out and reinserting pen ink cartridge RETURN TO ASSISTANCE
