Moleskine x Nihon University College of the Arts Partnership

This year, we celebrated the 10th anniversary of the joint art competition between Moleskine and the College of Arts at Nihon University. As a brand that believes in the power of creativity to bring about change in the world, this project provided a significant opportunity for engaging with various art styles, perspectives, and creativity.

In this year's competition, numerous students from different faculties created and submitted artworks using Moleskine notebooks, under the theme "Chasing Inspiration." The purpose was to explore the creative drive of students, sparking their free thinking and encouraging them to produce works in their distinctive styles, resulting in a competition brimming with creativity.

Participants commenced their creations in August 2023, and a total of 122 artworks were submitted. In November, during the judging process, faculty members, Moleskine staff, and two esteemed guest judges—renowned designer Norio Nakamura and illustrator Kana Suzuki, both graduates of Nihon University's College of the Arts — evaluated the submissions. Among these, 23 artworks were selected for awards.
