Detour London 2023

The Moleskine traveling exhibition comes to Saatchi Gallery

After successful editions in Shanghai, Paris, and New York, Detour comes to the renowned Saatchi Gallery, London, from 2nd to 15th September 2023.

The Moleskine travelling exhibition will feature more than 100 artists’ notebooks from the Moleskine Foundation permanent collection, including works of art by William Kentridge, Francis Kéré, Hans Ulrich Obrist, Paula Scher, Toyo Ito, and Aida Muluneh.

These pieces will be joined by a specially created installation entitled VOICE BOX by British artist Hannah Marshall. The installation celebrates the power of the written word as it permeates the page with a 4 minute poetic symphony that reveals Hannah’s voice.

For the occasion, Hannah also created two Detour Notebook Sets, both entitled VOICE BOOK and available for purchase on moleskine.com The handwriting used on the cover and inner pages is Hannah's own, created by the artist as a representation of her unique voice. The notebooks come in a box containing items mindfully pieced together to unlock and invite focused thought.
