Moleskine participates in the first edition of the Arles International Festival du Dessin with Detour, a travelling exhibition of artists’ notebooks curated by Moleskine Foundation.
The exhibition, which runs from 22nd April to 14th May at the Saint Blaise Church in Arles in the south of France, includes more than 60 artists’ notebooks from the Moleskine Foundation permanent collection.
These will be joined by several new notebooks transformed into works of art by a selection of artists and illustrators taking part in the festival, alongside the notebooks of students and professors of creative writing and sketching chosen for the occasion by Les Traces Habiles – an observatory of contemporary drawing practices.
A capsule collection of these fascinating artists’ notebooks can also be viewed during the festival at the Vincent van Gogh Foundation.
